This has nothing to do with anything. I just thought it was funny.

Table Football
The other night Rachel, Peggy, Panda, and I came up with the newest most awesomest game ever. We call it (and by "we" I mean me) table football. It's a slight spin-off of paper football. The only difference is this time you spin jacks in an attempt to get them to stop in designated areas of the table in order to accumulate points.
As you can tell from the top picture, there are two lines on opposite ends of the table. They designate the boundaries for the scoring areas. The space between the back line and the edge of the table represents the endzone, or 7-point area. The space between the endzone line and the front line represents a field goal, or 3-point area.
A player has two attempts to spin their jack towards the opposite end of the table from them and land in either the 3-point or 7-point area after it stops spinning. At the same time there is a defender from the opposing team sitting to either their left or right who has the chance to spin his or her defender in the direction of the offender in an attempt to either knock the jack out of the scoring area or off the table. The defender can choose to no use his defender on the first spin so that he can have two defenders to throw on the offender's second try. If the defender knocks the offender's jack backwards into their own endzone then that results in a safety (2 points). If at anytime one player scores two touchdowns in a row then they are awarded an extra defender (3 defenders instead of 2).
We've recently had a lot of fun playing this game, and we've probably spent a lot more time playing it than we should have. However, if you're ever bored then I suggest giving it a try.

Gene Chizik Owes Us a Cheeseburger
"I saw some signs saying 'Mack come to Auburn' and I felt like they were true fans"
-Eric Mack
Eric Mack is a highly rated OG recruit that was originally committed to South Carolina, but just recently swapped his commitment to Auburn. Rivals has a video of Mack discussing his recent commitment to Auburn. He definitely mentions our signs in Tampa as a factor in his decision to choose Auburn. Gene, you're welcome. I'll take a double cheeseburger, hold the pickles.

Homemade Cheese Sticks Were a Great Idea
Of course, frying is always easier when do don't have to use a frying pan. The only changes I would make on my next attempt would be to make them smaller. I think they'll be easier to bread so the cheese doesn't get everywhere after they've been cooked. Overall, I would consider it a success.

It Feels Awesome Outside

The Book of Eli was awesome!
I give it 32.3333 (repeating of course) stars out of 33 stars
I don't want to say too much, but this movie was really good. It doesn't lack on action, and the story is solid. My only complaint is that it is a little slow in some parts.
Go see it. You won't be sorry.

I Want to Go Down the Chattahoochee
If you know me then the plans I'm about to discuss will not surprise you one bit. I've been dying to take a boat from Columbus, Ga down to Apalachicola Bay. I've planned the trip several times, but every time I get something in the works the whole thing falls apart. It typically has something to do with the boat that we plan on taking not working, someone backs out, or both. It's going to happen one day. I'm still brainstorming with some friends right now to do my best to get something to work out. However, we're running into the same old familiar problem. What boat are we going to take? Besides a small jon boat with a 7hp motor on the back, we have no other options as of right now. If you would like to donate a vessel to this cause then please let me know.
David Cutcliffe Headed to UT
Word is Cutcliffe is leaving Duke to take over at Tennessee. Several sources in North Carolina are reporting this including WKYT.
UPDATE: Govolsxtra is reporting that there is mutual interest, but Tennessee will not be hiring today.

I Need to Wet a Hook
If you've been outside recently then you might understand why this post is titled what it is. It feels awesome outside and all I can think about is going fishing. Hopefully the time will come soon. In the meantime I'll leave you with some photos of trips past.
UPDATE: I went to Academy tonight and bought fishing lures. I'm also planning on going tomorrow afternoon. Let's hope it works out.
Fishing in Alaska is easily one of my fondest memories, except for when I met my girlfriend.
I know you're jealous of THE vest

Domino's New Pizza
I had the privilege tonight of trying Domino's apparently "new" pizza. I'm not sure why they felt the need to change their pizza, but I guess there was some reason I'm unaware of (economy, re-energize the brand, Lane Kiffin left UT). Anyway, I have to say that while I felt like the changes weren't that major, what changes that have been done really did make it better.
The biggest difference to me was overall there was nothing bland about the pizza. The crust, sauce, and cheese all blended well together and nothing was just hanging out and taking up space. Every dimension had good flavor. One particular difference that stood out was that it seemed like the marinara sauce was a little spicy, like it had a bit of a kick to it. Maybe they just kicked it up a notch with their spice weasel. Anyway, I would recommend that you give it a shot. I thought it was pretty good.
I would also recommend that you try ordering your pizza online. It was quick and easy. Rachel and I even gave them and extremely complicated order (half light pepperoni, & the other half light green peppers and onions) and they got it right. I was impressed.
New Blog Name
Apparently I always preface statements with "I'll be honest with you." That's why the new name of my blog is what it is.
Recap of the past few weeks
This is going to be short and sweet. As much as I would like to type out a long and detailed post, I'm not going to. I don't want to. So, I lied. Get off my back.
Christmas was great. The bowl trip was even better. I'm so glad Auburn came out of the bowl game with a win and some great momentum heading into recruiting season and the spring.
The GMAC Bowl was a lot of fun as well. Troy was a good team playing against a great quarterback. I couldn't believe they lost that game in the end.
Something may or may not have happened in Pasadena the next night. I'm not sure. If you're curious then go check out Wal-Mart in Tuscaloosa. They might be able to help you.
What have I been doing for the few days in between all of that? A whole lot of nothing. Sorry to disappoint. I'm sure both of my readers will be able to find it in their hearts to forgive me.

Lunch with Chuck
Okay, so I didn't eat lunch with Charles Barkley. He did speak at a lunch I attended earlier for the GMAC Bowl's Mayor's Lunch. We got to briefly speak and talk to him afterwards. He admitted that Alabama fans were sore losers and even worse winners. War Eagle Chuck!
