Tigers Eyeing Outback Bowl

Auburn fans should expect a bowl invitation to come from the Outback Bowl in Tampa Bay, FL.  It would seem as though Auburn is going to come out a real winner, out of all the 7-5 SEC teams.  It erally makes sense when you think about it.  Tennessee has frequented the bowl too much recently.  South Carolina was there last year.  And why would they invite a fan base in UGA who views their season as a disaster?  The Outback Bowl CEO Jim McVay said about the Auburn fan base after the Iron Bowl:

"When we heard of the Auburn fans chanting at the end of Friday's game, "It's great to be an Auburn Tiger!" We knew there was something special about the excitement around this football team. The Tigers have everything we are looking for in a New Year's Day team. They are a tough, exciting team, extremely well coached...and... have what might be the best fans in college football."

Wouldn't you rather have a fan base that's excited about the direction their program is heading?  I would think so.  Auburn's opponent will most likely be either Northwestern or Wisconsin, and everyone seems to think it will be Wisconsin.  You can order tickets from Auburn's website and students can get half priced tickets from the Auburn Ticket Office. War Eagle and see you in Tampa!
